CHILD CARING INSTITUTION (CCI)
Supporting Male Youth Ages 12–17
PineWay CCI is a State of Michigan-licensed Child Caring Institution providing structured residential care and individualized support for male youth ages 12–17 whose developmental, intellectual, cognitive, autism-related, emotional, or behavioral needs are appropriate for the program.
We provide a safe and stable environment where youth can develop skills, build positive relationships, receive individualized support, and work toward successful transitions.
CCI May Serve Youth Who:
- • Have qualifying developmental, intellectual, or cognitive needs
• Have developmental delays or autism-related needs
• Experience emotional or behavioral challenges associated with their qualifying needs
• Benefit from structure, consistency, and supervision
• Need support with coping and emotional-regulation skills
• Need assistance with social, communication, and daily-living skills
• Benefit from educational and community support
• Can be safely served in a non-restraint residential environment

ADULT FOSTER CARE (AFC)
Supporting Young Adults Ages 18–26
PineWay AFC provides residential support for adults ages 18–26 with developmental disabilities, developmental or cognitive delays, cognitive impairments, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and related support needs.
Our AFC program is designed to help individuals build greater independence while receiving the structure and assistance they need in daily life.
AFC May Serve Adults Who:
• Have a developmental disability
• Have cognitive or developmental delays
• Have an intellectual disability or cognitive impairment
• Have autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Need assistance with activities of daily living
• Benefit from structured routines and consistent support
• Need support with communication or social skills
• Want to develop greater independence
• Need assistance with community integration
• Benefit from coordinated mental-health or behavioral-health services
